Three fourth cup oats
One fourth cup samba rawa(wheat rawa)
One onion cut into small pieces
One or two green chillis
One inch piece of ginger cut into tiny bits or one teaspoon of dry ginger powder
Curry leaves and coriander leaves
One cup of curd and salt to taste.
Mix all together, no frying, seasoning etc etc and let it soak for about an hour. If the batter is thick add a little water and bring it to dosai batter consistency.
Then on a non stick dosa tawa, spread it like Uthappam. Keep the flame low and cover it with a lid for the onion to get cooked well.
Turn sides and take it out brown. This will not be crispy, but very soft.
Sprinkle idli podi evenly on the Uthappam with one teaspoon of oil and eat hot.
This will be good for afternoon lunch also. Not much of carb but plenty of fibre. Enjoy.
