POHA CUTLET


POHA  CUTLET
Thin Poha
2 cups
Left over vegetables
2 cups
Green chilli(minced)
2
Chopped onion
1
Coriander leaves
¼ cup
Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying
2 tbsn
Cumin seeds(jeera)
1 tsp

1.     Soak the poha in water, wash it and drain the water by squeezing it well.
2.     Add all the left over vegetables to it.
3.     If left over is not there, cut fresh vegetables like carrot, beans and peas, microwave it for 2 minutes and add to the poha.
4.     Microwave the onion separately with chilli pieces and add to the poha.
5.     Mix with jeera, coriander leaves and salt to a thick batter without adding water.
6.     Divide it into small balls.
7.     Place a flat bottomed tawa on stove and pat the small balls into round cutlets
8.     Sprinkle a little oil around them and turn sides and take out golden brown.
9.     Tomato ketch up is the best side dish for it.
