Quick Vadai for office goers.
Bengal gram - 2 cups
Toor Dhal - 2 cups
Urad Dhal - 2 cups
Red chilli - 1/4 cup
Grind all this together to a coarse powder and keep.
When Vadai has to be made, take a measure of this coarse rawa, mix it tightly with hot water and allow it to stand for 10 minutes. Add salt, curryleaves, coriander leaves and mix uniformly ( can also roll it in the mixie just for a second).Adding onion is optional. Divide the dough into small balls , flatten them into small vadai and deep fry. You can also shallow fry it, if you want to avoid oil.
