சோள தோசை(Jowar Dosai)
A very healthy and easy சோள தோசை—
Idli rice. 1 cup
Jowar(வெள்ளை சோளம்). 1 cup
Urad dhal—. 1/2 cup
Onion bits. — 1/2 cup
Jeera. — one tsp
Red chilli —. 4
Asafoetida—- 1/2 tsp
Curry and coriander leaves — 2tbsn
Soak Idli rice, Jowar and urad dhal separately overnight. In the morning grind urad dhal nicely and keep. Grind Jowar with salt and red chilli a little coarsely and keep. Grind rice nicely. Mix all together well with hand and set aside for 4 to 5 hours to ferment. Cut the onions into tiny bits. Put a tawa on stove , season one tsp of mustard and split urad dhal each, add onion and curry leaves and sauté well. Add this to the batter with fresh coriander leaves. Let the batter be somewhat dilute almost like rava dosa batter. On a hot dosai tawa spread this batter thinly , turn sides and take out golden brown. Liberal sprinkling of ghee will make this dosai delicious, but you can opt for ginglee oil if desired. The Dosai I tried today. With coconut chutney , it turned out to be extremely delicious. I am trying to substitute raw rice with millets as much as possible. This is one of the results. Try it and give me feedback.
