RADISH (MOOLI ) PARATHAS

RADISH (MOOLI) PARATHAS

Easy Radish (mooli) Paratha
Wheat flour. 2 cups
Radish gratings. 1 cup
Garam masala 1tsp
Ginger gratings. 2tsp
Green chilli. 3
Chilli powder. 1tsp
Oil. 4tsp
Salt to taste
1. Grate the radish and ginger fine and soft.
2.Chop the green chillis into small pieces.
3.Add the chilli pieces, garam masala, chilli powder and salt to the radish and ginger gratings, add a handful of finely chopped coriander leaves and mix them well. Let it stay for half an hour. Radish and salt together will become quite watery.
4.Take a bowl and squeeze the radish well. Add wheat flour to this water and add a little more salt and mix it well like paratha dough. You may have to add some more water to blend it well.
5.Microwave the squeezed radish for one minute. Add it to the wheat flour, add four teaspoon of oil and blend it well to form a good soft paratha dough.
Let it stand for half an hour.
6.Then divide it into small balls and roll into fine, a little thick parathas.
7.Cook the parathas on a tawa liberally sprinkling oil and ghee, turn sides and take out golden brown.
8.It does not need any heavy subji as it has all masalas and vegetable.
9.To give a better taste, we can chop onion also finely and add to the radish.
Tomato ketch up is a good side dish to it
