Oats- Multigrain Dosa I
Oats. - one cup
Idli Rice. - one cup
Toor dhal,Bengal gram dhal,Urad dhal,Moong dhal. - 1/2 cup each
Red chilli. - 2
Ginger ground. - one tsp
Saunf. - one tsp
Onion(minced). - 1/2 cup
Curry leaves & coriander leaves a handful
Grated coconut. - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oats. - one cup
Idli Rice. - one cup
Toor dhal,Bengal gram dhal,Urad dhal,Moong dhal. - 1/2 cup each
Red chilli. - 2
Ginger ground. - one tsp
Saunf. - one tsp
Onion(minced). - 1/2 cup
Curry leaves & coriander leaves a handful
Grated coconut. - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Soak all the grains together for an hour.
Keep the oats in the cup.(No need to soak it)
After an hour put all together, soaked grains, chilli, curry and coriander leaves,salt, coconut, onion and saunf and grind them in the mixer.
Finally add the raw oats, no need to soak the oats, and grind for a minute into a little coarse batter.
Spread like dosa on a non stick dosai tawa and turn sides sprinkling one tsp of ghee and take out golden brown.
Any sambar or chutney will go with it.
For kids the best combo is butter and jaggery.
Enjoy a protein rich tiffin.
