Soak poha after washing, for half an hour (the water for soaking should just cover the poha)
Keep a kadai on stove, pour oil, season it with mustard, urad dhal and Bengal gram dhal.
Split two green chilli and add it with all vegetables in the kadai.
Add the oats and fry it for two minutes.
Add one and a half cup of boiling water to it and cover it with a lid
Let the oats and the vegetables get cooked.
When the water gets absorbed add salt, turmeric powder and asafoetida.
Then add the soaked poha and turn slowly with wooden ladle so that the poha does not split.
Add one tsp of ghee, curry and coriander leaves. Finally add the lime juice and close.
Any sambar or chutney can go as side dish. For kids, sugar is the best side dish.
